Knowing When It's Time
It can be difficult to know when the time has come to euthanize a beloved pet. In most cases, your furry friend will give you signs.
About Veterinary Medicine
Euthanasia
When it comes time to make that difficult desicion, we want to do it according to your wishes.
- Attended Euthanasias are for the families that would like to remain with their pet. An IV catheter will be placed and a family member can hold the pet while the injection is given.
- Unattended Euthanasias are for the families that do not wish to remain with their pet. We will admit your pet into the clinic for the euthanasia.
Cremation Options
- Private Cremations are for families that wish to have the remains from their pet returned to them. This service is provided by Family Pet Memorial. All remains are returned an urn. A Pet Cemetary is also available if you wish to have a burial for your pet. The clinic takes care of all arrangements.
- Mass Cremations are for families that do not wish to have the remains of their pet returned to them. These pets are cremated in a mass crematorium provided by TLC Pet Services.
